EL INFIERNO
Chennu committed his first crime when he was 15 years old: being a street kid. And he entered hell: Pademba Road, the adult prison in Freetown. In hell, Mr. Sillah is in charge, and there is no hope. Chennu got out after four years. Now he wants to go back.

His feature film Another Day of Life received the EFA Award for Best European Animation Feature Film 2018, as well as the 2019 Goya and Platino awards in the same category and the Audience Award at the San Sebastian Film Festival. It premièred in the Official Section of the Cannes Festival.
As a short film-maker, his films Minerita (Goya for Best Short Documentary 2014 and semi-finalist for the 2016 Oscars), La fiebre del oro and Virgen negra stand out.
