LABO

«Labo» is a stroll through the memory of the former Francisco Franco Labour University of Tarragona – not only through its buildings but also the memory of those who inhabited them. It is a journey into our past that will enable us to better understand the present and the future.

Donostia / San Sebastian, 1980. With a degree in Audiovisual Communication and Humanities from the University of Salamanca, he returned to San Sebastian, where he worked as a cameraman for various production companies. After a series of unknown and unfinished projects, in 2009 he moved to Barcelona to study a Master’s Degree in Creative Documentaries. There, he worked as director of photography on some friends’ projects and created his first documentary Figura amb Paisatge (Figure and landscape), which was screened by Catalan television (TV3) and nominated for various festivals. Empty House is his second creation.
