YA NO DUERMO

Miguel and his Uncle Kechus want to shoot a vampire film. In that endeavour to create something together, reality and fiction alternate, in a game which also shows the particular relationship established between boy and adult.

Donostia / San Sebastián, 1996. Holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. In 2018 she returns to her city to take a postgraduate in Filmmaking Studies at Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola. There, she creates the short film Ya no duermo, which premieres in the Zabaltegi-Tabakalera section of the San Sebastian International Film Festival and continues its journey in more than thirty national and international festivals, winning 6 awards among which stand out the Biznaga for best fiction short film at the Malaga Festival and the award for best Ibero-American short film at the Shorts Mexico Festival. Besides, Ya no duermo is part of Kimuak 2020, selection promoted by the Department of Culture of the Basque Government, and is considered one of the best short films of the year according to Caimán Cuadernos de Cine magazine.
Her first feature film, Y así seguirán las cosas, has been selected in the Noka Mentoring of Tabakalera and in the Ikusmira Berriak residency program, promoted by the San Sebastián International Film Festival, through which she has participated in the Co-production Forum of the 69th edition.
