HILETA
In a small Basque village in 1925, a wake is being held for Inge, the young wife of Mikel Martikorena, who has died suddenly. Visited by all the major figures of the village, Martín, the patriarch of the family, is concerned only by the absence of his middle son Joanes, gone insane after studying theology and who wanders the hills preaching of the resurrection of the dead.

Kepa Sojo
Llodio, 1968. As well as being a film director and script-writer, Kepa Sojo has a PhD in History of Art and lectures in History of Cinema at the University of the Basque Country. He is a specialist in Spanish cinema from the Franco era and on the work of Luis García Berlanga.
He has won over 70 national and international awards for his audiovisual work, as well as a nomination for the Goya Awards in 2015 for his short film Loco con ballesta. Since 2009, he has coordinated the Cortada Festival in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
