Iceland lives in darkness for much of the year. The good thing about night is that it's like a backdrop which erases the set and leaves you looking at the bare essentials, like looking at sheet of paper you have to draw on.

Iñigo Salaberria
Donostia / San Sebastián, 1961. He studied History and Cinematographic Aesthetics at the University of Valladolid and Paris III. In 1984 and 1985, he carried out courses on video at the American Center in Paris, where he worked as a technical assistant in workshops by Michel Jaffrennou, Joan Logue, William Wegman and Ken Feingold. He has lived in Lyon, Reykjavik, London and Madrid. His works have been screened and received awards at various festivals and art events.
