Nai is a child who lives in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Recently, he is having nightmares about the Yeak, a Khmer monster that eats naughty children. Michael, his English teacher at school, tells him that monsters don’t exist. He assures him that they are just children’s fantasies. The truth, however, is very different.

Paul Urkijo Alijo (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1984). Since childhood, he has been into film, illustration, literature and comics, with a preference for the fantasy genre. He is also a huge fan of mythology and traditional tales. The short films he has written and directed have won more than 100 national and international prizes and been selected more than 400 times across the world. He made his feature film debut in 2017 with Errementari: el herrero y el diablo (Errementari: the Blacksmith and the Devil), based on the Basque legend of Patxi Errementaria.
