AMOR DE MADRE
In a small village on the English coast a series of murders have recently occurred. Everybody suspects John Merrick of murder, a strange and introverted joung boy living deeply attached to his mother Bedelia, who is the president of the Bridge Club in the village.

Bilbao, 1975. He studied a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Specialized in Audiovisual Media) in the University of the Basque Country. After that, he directed the short films Amor de madre (written and directed in collaboration with Gorka Vázquez) and El Tren de la Bruja. Both chosen and awarded in several festivals around the world, such as The Golden Méliès to Best Fantastic European Shortfilm in Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival.
He directed his first feature film The Backwoods in 2006, and in his second feature Gernika was released in 2016.
