Kimuak Authors Awarded in San Sebastian

Several projects will see the light soon

The San Sebastian International Film Festival has given us many joys, as several directors and producers who have been part of Kimuak have received important and well deserved awards.

Directors Jon Garaño and Aitor Arregi won the Special Jury Prize and the Irizar Basque Film Award for with their feature film Handia.

They have also awarded several projects that will see the light soon:

• Dantza, Telmo Esnal: Glocal in Progress Award and Glocal in Progress Industry Award.
• Akelarre / Witches’ Sabbath, Pablo Agüero (produced by Sorgin Films): ARTE International Prize of the Europe-Latin America Co-production Forum.
• Las letras de Jordi / Jordi’s Letters, Maider Fernandez Iriarte (produced by Sr. y Sra.): REC Grabaketa Estudioa Post-production Award (Ikusmira Berriak Award).
